Hans Bellstedt (Dr. phil.) is the founder and managing partner of Hans Bellstedt Public Affairs GmbH. He advises on strategic and political issues, coordinates the hbpa competence partners and represents hbpa in the global NEXTLAW Public Affairs Network.
Hans Bellstedt studied Modern History, Economics and Political Science in Göttingen, Bordeaux, Bonn and Paris. He was a staff member of Christian Democratic Foreign Affairs spokesman Karl Lamers MP (1990-1991), personal assistant to Chambers of Industry and Commerce-president Hans-Peter Stihl (1992-1995) as well as an editor of executive publications at ABB Asea Brown Boveri AG. From 1999 until the end of 2007, he headed the communications agency Plato GmbH which he founded together with Scholz & Friends.
Hans is a lecturer for Public Affairs at the TU Berlin and has published the anthology "Public Affairs. Strategies and instruments of advocacy for business, science and institutions" (2010) and "Der Raum in der Kunst. The Französische Straße Collection" (2015). He runs, plays the piano and engages as reading mentor at a primary school in Berlin-Kreuzberg.

Tasha Schedler is a member of the Management Team at hbpa GmbH with special responsibility for Human Resources. She advises clients in the areas of financial services, e-government, digitization and health. To this end, she observes and analyzes the relevant political developments, prepares policy reports as well as stakeholder analyses and curates political dialogue platforms.
Previously, Tasha studied Political Science and Comparative and Middle East Politics and Societies at the University of Tübingen. She has multiple years of experience as a research assistant. Additionally, Tasha spent two semesters abroad at the University of Geneva in Switzerland and the American University in Cairo, Egypt.
Prior to joining hbpa, Tasha gained experience in the field of Public Affairs at Ogilvy Social.Lab in Brussels and interned with a member of state parliament in Lower Saxony as well as with an NGO.

Maria Rudenko is a Junior Associate at hbpa. She supports the team by monitoring current political developments and creating background analysis mainly in the field of energy policy, circular economy, and climate protection. In addition, Maria is in charge of hbpa’s presence on Social Media.
Previously, Maria studied Political Science at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow and at the University of Siegen, as well as Media and Digital Communications at the Humboldt University of Berlin.
Prior to joining hbpa, Maria worked for the international broadcaster Deutsche Welle and interned at German Bundestag. She also worked as a freelance print and radio journalist.
Maria is a dedicated globetrotter and a language learner.

Fabian Appel is a junior associate at hbpa. He supports the team in the areas of energy, environment/climate and infrastructure policy, i.a., by monitoring current political developments.
Fabian is a graduate of Political Science and General Rhetoric at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen. During his studies, he gained relevant practical experience at agencies, consultancies, and through internships in the political arena in Berlin. A year abroad in Mexico was among his most formative experiences.
Apart from dealing with energy policy, Fabian gains his personal energy from drinking coffee, playing soccer, and traveling.

Tine Feddersen is a junior associate at hbpa. She supports the team i.a. by monitoring current political developments in the areas of energy, climate and environment and editing political information formats.
Tine studied law at Humboldt University of Berlin with main focus on criminal law. Besides her studies, she gained several years of work experience at the office of a member of the German parliament. Moreover Tine interned at the energy policy department of the German Wind Energy Association, at a law firm with a focus on renewable energy and at various courts.

Katharina Sophie Bellstedt supports hbpa as a Public Affairs researcher. She currently has a focus on digital and health policy creating a regular monitoring and carrying out further tasks in the team.
Katharina has been studying Communication and Political Science at the University of Mainz since autumn 2018. She has already completed internships at “funk”, the content network of public broadcasting stations ARD and ZDF, as well as ARD online where she subsequently worked on a part-time basis. Later on, she spent internships at the German TV broadcaster SAT 1, at SPIEGEL TV as well as at the regional studios of the Second German TV (ZDF) in Hannover/Lower Saxony.

Leoni Schulz is working at hbpa as part of an internship, in which she supports the team with monitorings of the current political activity, focusing on the digital and health policy sector, as well as other research projects.
Leoni completed her International Baccalaureate at the International School of Zug and Luzern in Switzerland in 2021. Afterward, she spent the last months traveling across Europe and working in the childcare sector in a swiss ski resort. She is excited to start her law degree in Berlin this year.

Katharina Rock has been employed with hbpa until March 31st, 2022. She started her Ph. D. project on April 1st, 2022. Notwithstanding, in special situations (and on a limited scale), she may assist hbpa and her clients as PA Advisor especially in the field of energy and climate policy.
Katharina studied political and environmental sciences at the University of Potsdam and the Humboldt University in Berlin. She spent semesters abroad in Brussels and Tanzania. Due to her extensive work experience in the German Bundestag, Katharina has a strong practical understanding of politics. She is also familiar with working with clients from the business world due to her previous assignment at a consulting firm.
