Demographics, digitization, climate change - the economy and society are facing multiple challenges. hbpa advises and supports its customers in positioning themselves as a solution partner to politicians and the public. hbpa is your communication partner of choice when it comes to helping shape transformation.
hbpa aligns its consulting activities with different sectors of industry.
At hbpa we are one thing above all: a team. Together we give everything for our customers. Respect for one another and an open culture of dialogue are important to us. It is our aim to act objectively, fairly and in a future-oriented manner.
We listen to you, ask questions, take notes. We want to understand where the shoe pinches and where we can help. The more detailed you describe your challenges to us, the better!
Based on your briefing, we will develop a tailor-made public affairs concept for you. The focus is on your topics, a clear positioning and a catalog of measures.
"It's all about execution" - according to this motto, we gradually implement the concept you have approved. Appointments with MPs, position papers, monitoring or dialogue forums are among the most common formats.
hbpa's range of advisory services consists of different, interlocking services:
hbpa creates environmental analyzes that provide information about the regional, socio-economic or media context of planned projects, for example in the area of infrastructure. What political conditions am I dealing with in the context of my project? Who are the relevant stakeholders (e.g. citizens' initiatives) and how have they recently positioned themselves in relation to comparable projects? What are the infrastructural conditions? Our analyzes provide answers to these questions, which often also include a visualization of local conditions. In addition, the perception of relevant topics and projects in the media and on the relevant social media platforms is analyzed. Recommendations for action and suggestions for addressing stakeholders round off the analyses.
Public Affairs thrives on discretion. Therefore, we only show a few references on our website (see Content Creation and Digital Public Affairs). Within the scope of what is permissible (keyword: non-disclosure agreements), we would be happy to report to you in a personal meeting about our work for global corporations, medium-sized companies and trade associations.
hbpa designs and writes political (or aimed at politics) narratives, position papers, special issues and policy letters in print and online format. Speeches, presentations or letters on special occasions are also created in our "Writer's Room". When it comes to layout and design, we work together with selected creative partners. By creating mailing lists and letters, we also relieve our customers of the distribution of their publications.
Credentials:
hbpa makes recommendations as to whom the customer should meet and takes over the entire organization of a conversation - from the inquiry to the fixing and preparation of content (briefings, talking points) to support, logging and follow-up.
We also design and implement innovative, topic-based event formats, including parliamentary breakfasts or evenings, panel discussions or association meetings.
The goal is always to increase the visibility of our customers in the political arena and to make their issues and concerns heard. All formats are also offered in digital form.

hbpa analyzes the digital environment of its customers, develops targeted topic and "posting" strategies for Facebook or Twitter, for example, and implements them accordingly.
In order to be noticed in the digital public and to take part in the debates conducted there, a clear strategy, relevant content and a professional appearance are required.
Reference:
hbpa systematically and continuously monitors the legislative processes relevant to the respective customer as well as the associated formation of opinions in the media and social networks. The results of our monitoring are summarized in customer-specific daily reports (AdHoc News), weekly, monthly or quarterly reports. Legislative developments are shown on the hbpa LegTrack along a timeline, and there is compact background information for each law. The "Next week in Parliament" preview and the hbpa appointment service round off our "Intelligence as a Service" range of services.
On request, hbpa will take over the complete representation of the customer in political Berlin. We follow parliamentary debates for you, take part in hearings or attend relevant events. We also hold discussions with members of parliament, parliamentary group assistants or ministry officials on your behalf and then report to you about them. Finally, we offer you the opportunity to use our modern office facilities near Berlin's Gendarmenmarkt for work stays or meetings, e.g. committee meetings. You can also book a correspondence address and telephone number in Berlin via hbpa.
hbpa analyzes the political and regulatory environment of the respective client and, on this basis, develops individual public affairs strategies tailored to the client's business model and goals.
Typically, we conduct workshops with the respective customer in order to gain a better understanding of their initial situation and needs and to develop initial ideas together.
Based on this, we advise our clients on questions of positioning, issue management and interaction with political stakeholders.

To expand our circle of competence partners, we are looking for an expert in the field of digital economy. Relevant knowledge from this sector would be advantageous, for example acquired through a corresponding activity in a company in the IT industry, an association or also in the political environment. The hbpa competence partners work on a project basis for hbpa on a freelancer basis, for example in new business situations, at workshops or for long-term (co-)supervision of mandates, especially at the strategic level. The idea of the partnership is also to share skills, expertise, ideas and networks for the benefit of both sides and to help the partner to gain greater visibility.
